This was my demo project for IMS 430/530 A. I created this wintery scene in Cinema 4D and used UV mapping I’d use Cinema 4D’s standard or physical render engine to create materials with accurate reflection, glossiness, and bump mapping. For a more realistic look, I incorporated PBR (physically-based rendering). I’d enable GI for more realistic light bouncing and natural shadows. I lastly added a light snowfall overtop of the scene to make it feel more accurate. This was my first project in Cinema 4D and it was not easy, it gave me a new found appreciation for 3D modeling.
